W Taipei is a part of the City Hall Station Complex Project, which includes a long-hail bus station, a MRT station, a department store, and the hotel. The MRT station, City Hall Station is the main entrance to the Xinyi CBD, it is on the busiest line in the city, which usually takes less than 3 minute for the next train.

Although they don't have an all-time lounge but they do provide similar service at their lobby lounge, and even add another bar at the top floor during happy hour. During the day you could get as many coffee you want at the lobby lounge (aka Woo Bar), or any soft drinks. And during happy hour you could have unlimited cocktail at two of their lounge (Woo Bar & Yen Bar), with different cocktail menu.
This one is not quite an issue, but an awkward thing that happened to me, they have provided a heavy bass speaker in each room, which when I tried it out, I soon got a phone call from the front desk about getting complaint from my room for making noises. It would be nice that they could add a little notice on the speaker, pretty sure I am not the first people to assume it was ok to use the speaker since it was provided by the hotel.
